Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Insurance & Fleet Services, the Fleet Services Analyst is responsible for coordinating all administrative, financial, system, and reporting processes. The role ensures data accuracy across platforms, supports budgeting and project administration, maintains fleet and driver records, and delivers clear analytics to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Support project and financial administration in SAP, including budgets, cost centres, purchase orders, invoice processing, and project close‑out.
- Review monthly fleet expenses, prepare reporting, and analyze trends and variances.
- Extract, analyze, and maintain data from SAP, telematics, and other internal systems; develop recurring and ad hoc reports using advanced Excel.
- Coordinate fleet inventory data and act as administrator for the telematics platform.
- Validate telematics events and report relevant information into the Incident Management System.
- Maintain driver records and abstracts, ensuring compliance with National Safety Code requirements.
- Manage shared inboxes, vendor setup, and general administrative coordination.
- Support the review and maintenance of department policies, procedures, and intranet documentation.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities based on data insights.
Qualifications:
- Post‑secondary education in business, accounting, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in business operations, analytics, fleet coordination, or administrative support.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets from multiple systems, develop actionable reports, and identify opportunities for process improvement or automation.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas; Power Query an asset).
- Experience with SAP or enterprise systems preferred.
- Understanding of fleet operations, telematics, or commercial vehicle regulations is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
