STRATEGIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

The Learning Experience Designer designs, manages, and continuously improves learning products that build employee and leader capabilities. Using learner insights, data, and business priorities, the role develops learning roadmaps and creates engaging, scalable learning experiences that drive skill development, performance, and business results. This role will also lead groups and facilitate learning workshops.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Own an assigned learning portfolio, including product vision, roadmap, and backlog. 
  • Identify capability-building opportunities that support organizational priorities. 
  • Design learning journeys, programs, workshops, and digital learning experiences. 
  • Apply adult learning, instructional design, and human-centered design principles. 
  • Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and People teams to translate learning needs into solutions. 
  • Conduct learner research and use data to identify needs, gaps, and opportunities. 
  • Develop and test pilots, prototypes, and minimum viable learning solutions. 
  • Lead implementation, launch, and adoption activities for learning products. 
  • Define success measures and evaluate learning effectiveness, adoption, and impact. 
  • Continuously improve learning products using feedback, insights, and performance data. 
  • Facilitation and delivery of people experience and learning programs.

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES 

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Talent Development, or related fields. 
  • Experience designing enterprise learning programs, journeys, or portfolios. AI experience will be considered an asset.  
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning and learning experience design principles. 
  • Experience creating digital, blended, and instructor-led learning solutions. 
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into effective learning experiences. 
  • Strong design thinking, journey mapping, and facilitation skills. 
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging learning experiences. 
  • Experience measuring learning effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.
