Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Product Strategy the Rebate Program Analyst is responsible for the reporting and analysis of all vendor rebate programs for the Crop Inputs Line of business. These programs account for approximately $20 million in vendor rebate payments annually. This position is responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of rebate reports, vendor reporting requirements and related master data. This role will liaise with Product Managers and vendors to ensure visibility to the accurate rebate position and potential for UFA and play a key role in program communication communicating program priorities to field sales.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the tracking, reporting and master data requirements for all annual vendor rebate programs.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and managing all aspects of rebate reporting and supporting the product strategy team with reporting and analysis.
- Supports the product strategy and sales teams in achieving business results and maximizing rebate opportunities to increase profitability for the cooperative.
- subject matter expert for key vendor rebate programs.
- Work directly with vendor representatives to manage the rebate program and reconcile rebates.
- Work collaboratively with finance to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of rebates.
- Participate in vendor planning meetings as a key UFA stakeholder.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in data analytics, business or commerce preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years of business and/or financial reporting and analysis required.
- Expert level capability in Excel and PowerBI is required.
- Strong analytical/financial skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Able to translate complex contract terminology into plain language in order to drive business results.
- Superior organizational skills; ability to set priorities, and maintain multiple initiatives.
- Ability to form strong team-based relationships, including across business units with internal customers.
