Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, IT PMO, the Scrum Master is responsible for driving consistent, high‑quality, on‑schedule delivery of IT initiatives by ensuring Agile teams are ell‑organized, disciplined, and execution‑focused.

This role owns the day‑to‑day health of team boards, sprint execution, and delivery cadence, ensuring work is clearly defined, actively managed, and completed to quality standards. The Scrum Master partners closely with Product Owners, delivery leaders, and stakeholders to provide transparency, manage risks and dependencies, and keep teams focused on delivering committed outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate efficient Scrum ceremonies that enable decision‑making, remove blockers quickly, promote accountability within the team and drive delivery performance
  • Coach and guide teams to become self-organizing, cross-functional, and quality outcome-focused
  • Actively manage delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments, monitor progress and intervene early to ensure quality and schedule are achieved
  • Facilitate medium-to-high complexity Agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing delivery oversight and risk visibility.
  • Own the day‑to‑day management and integrity of team boards, ensuring work items are actively updated and align to sprint goals while enforcing clear definitions of Ready and Done to maintain delivery quality and predictability Ensure accurate tracking and transparency of sprint commitments, deliverables, quality and progress KPIs using Agile tooling.
  • Partner with project leadership to support roadmap planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, dependency management, and risk mitigation to ensure stakeholders have confidence in delivery commitments through predictable execution.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making through reports on Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, throughput, cycle time, predictability, defects).
  • Support organizational Agile maturity and drive continuous improvement to improve speed, quality, and reliability of delivery by sharing best practices and coaching beyond the team level and contributing to Scrum Master communities of practice.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master delivering digital products, enterprise solutions and/or software development initiatives
  • Proven success driving teams to deliver on commitments using Scrum and/or related Agile frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to identify delivery risks early and take corrective action
  • Strong hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders Ability to coach teams through change and align with best practice to optimize delivery
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience supporting initiatives such as mobile applications, digital platforms or customer-facing portals
  • Experience working with SAP ERP or integrating SAP with digital platforms
  • Experience working in scaled Agile environments or with multiple interdependent teams
