Position Summary:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager the Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support recruitment and talent programs across the organization. The incumbent assists with sourcing and candidate communications, supports recruitment processes, and helps coordinate talent attraction initiatives and events to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Assist with the coordination of recruitment activities, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external job postings based on approved hiring requests.
- Support talent acquisition processes, including conducting resume reviews, interviews, and reference checks.
- Track recruitment metrics, review data, and maintain the posting tracking sheet to enable dashboard reporting.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and resume database; ensure timely processing of applications.
- Support and attend career fairs and recruitment events including coordinating logistics and materials.
- Assist with the administration of grant applications, subsidies, and recruitment tax credit programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
- Assist in the operation of the LMS (Learning Management System) by performing general administration tasks, including training record entry, updating student group membership, and generating training reports.
- Provide coordination and administrative support on various talent programs and projects.
- Act as a general resource for initiatives related to talent acquisition, employer branding, and early career employee experiences.
- Liaise with external recruitment agencies and vendors as directed.
Qualifications required for the position:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably with a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related field.
- Minimum of two years of related experience, preferably in Talent Acquisition.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP Success Factors or other ATS platforms would be an asset.
- Experience with or willingness to learn new tools and software.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach.
- Occasional travel may be required.
