Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Influence the results, including sales and profit
- Lead a high-performance team that delivers on the operational efficiency targets. Manage all areas of the facility to ensure business is set up for sustainable financial growth
- Determine your store’s inventory to ensure high levels of accuracy and minimal losses, while meeting the buying needs of the community
- Be actively involved and connect with the store’s local community
- Be part of a Co-operative with more than 100 years of proven success and continuously named a Top 80 Employer in Alberta
Qualifications required for the position:
- Results oriented with a track record of using accountability and performance metrics to drive the right behavior and business outcomes in either themselves or people reporting to them.
- 5+ years of operational experience in a leadership role in a customer service and operational excellent centered organization.
- Strong salesmanship skills with a customer focus and the capability to coach and develop direct reports to successful outcomes.
- Successfully used change management practices to ensure that changes remain in place and benefits were realized.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take a leadership role within the area
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), SAP, point-of-sale systems in a retail environment
Is a safety sensitive position as will be on site at UFA facilities and will be using UFA material handling equipment. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.
