Position Summary:

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for system execution and workload creation in the warehouse and transportation management systems, enabling safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations.

 

This role translates operational priorities into structured system tasks, ensuring work is correctly created, sequenced, and completed to support receiving, shipping, and inventory activities. The position ensures alignment between system activity and physical execution, supporting consistent flow, minimal rework, and accurate inventory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and complete warehouse system work in the warehouse and transportation management, ensuring tasks are accurate, timely, and aligned with operational priorities.
  • Translate operational priorities into structured system tasks, enabling efficient workflow and minimizing delays and rework.
  • Ensure alignment between system activity and physical operations, maintaining inventory accuracy and transaction integrity.
  • Monitor and maintain system accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.
  • Adjust system workload in coordination with Supervisors to reflect changing operational conditions.
  • Provide visibility into system status and escalate issues that impact operational flow or performance.

 

Decisions-Making and Scope:

  • Create and sequence system work in SAP based on operational priorities
  • Adjust workload structure in the system to maintain flow and efficiency
  • Correct system discrepancies and maintain data accuracy
  • Identify system or transaction issues impacting operations
  • Escalate system constraints or misalignment with physical execution

 

Leadership Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate effectively with Supervisors to support smooth operational flow
  • Maintain discipline and accuracy in system execution and transaction management
  • Communicate system issues and priorities clearly to operational teams
  • Promote accountability for data accuracy and system integrity
  • Support a structured and organized work environment through consistent processes

 

Qualifications:

Education / Experience

    • Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, or equivalent experience
    • 2–4 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative support role

Operational & System Capability

    • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and system-to-physical flow
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data and transactions
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

    • Experience working with WMS systems (SAP EWM/WM preferred)
    • Strong computer skills (SAP, Excel, data entry, reporting)

Other Requirements

    • Strong communication skills to coordinate with operational teams
    • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with regular interaction on the floor.

  • Accuracy of system transactions and inventory records
  • Timeliness and accuracy of work creation and task sequencing in SAP
  • Alignment between system work and physical execution (minimal rework or gaps)
  • Resolution of system discrepancies and transaction errors
  • Visibility and escalation of system issues impacting operational flow
