Job Summary:
Reporting to the Agency Manager, the Customer Sale and Service Representative 2 (CSSR 2) is responsible for serving and assisting customers in the selection and purchase of goods and services and/or fuel and fuel products to meet their needs. The Representative provides service in accordance with UFA’s Customer Service Policy and initiates and/or implements corrective action as required to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. This position will cross-train in multiple functions of the store or site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, knowledgeable service to customers in-store and over the phone.
- CRM support, including customer management, leads and fulfillment activities, as required.
- Perform accurate cash handling, billing, and daily balancing procedures.
- Assist with shipping/receiving, inventory counts, and merchandising in assigned store or yard areas.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces in compliance with UFA standards.
- Support special projects and events (e.g., trade fairs, farm shows).
- Assist with fuel inventory management activities such as daily fuel reconciliations, fuel variance investigation, weekly physical tank dips, and dispenser meter head comparisons, as directed.
- Act as a subject matter expert, when required, guiding peers on product knowledge, service practices, and UFA policies.
- Assists junior Customer Sales and Service Representatives with minor customer service issues.
- Assist with special projects, such as other support for other agency sites, farm stores, farm shows, trade fairs, etc.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma with 3–5 years of related experience.
- Strong customer service skills and product knowledge in agriculture or petroleum.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and enterprise systems (e.g., Dynamics).
- Capable of physical labour and lifting up to 25 kg. Forklift, warehouse, or yard experience is an asset.
- Must maintain current certifications (WHMIS, TDG).
